We had a terrible problem with lawn dirt patches (that were spreading). We have had our lawn professionally treated for over 5 years with another company. Late summer early fall of 2021 we noticed the dirt patches spreading. Called the previous company to address, no response from them. Contacted Lawn Doctor in the early spring - we are so pleased with them! The technician came out and walked the areas of concern with me. They put a plan together and I am happy to share we have GRASS GROWING in spots that were bare. We know it will take time to fill in, but we are so pleased. Our neighbor, who is still using our previous company, is having the same issue we did before switching over.

I’ve been a customer since spring 2019. Assistant Manager Scott Vitale visited my property when I expressed an interest in the service. We made a plan that included weed control and fertilizer. Communication with General Manager Derek Brierly is always helpful, he knows his stuff and responds with specificity. Last week, a service tech called and apologized for not being able to apply product b.c. a painter was working outside when he arrived. He explained that the state of MA forbids him from applying product when that happens. He then answered several questions I had about grub control, result is that I have a deeper understanding of how it works and that the techs have been trained in the science of what they’re doing. A lawn service is not a magic bullet, you have to put time in to do your part. I do and so do they.

Lawn Doctor of Waltham-Lexington performed the first of spring fertilizer service on March 3, 2022; the Service Technicians Josh and Craig were impressive professionals that went about their duties in quick but certain performance. On April 5, 2022, I choose to pre-pay for the season and was accurately guided in choosing the particular services that I needed by Derek, the General Manager. Earlier in the day I communicated with Sandy of Customer Service and she set me up with the Aeration process, and was very patient with my inquiry. This was my introduction to Lawn Doctor and I am quite favorably impressed. It is too early to determine the results of the grass seeding and weed control thus far, although I can definitely report that if it matches the courtesy and personal response to date, it will be quite acceptable. Stay tuned.

We all hate to pay bills! This is one bill that I enjoy paying because I can see the fruits of their labor. Before Lawn Doctor I was doing my own weeding and fertilizing. I crunched the numbers and I find using Lawn Doctor pays for itself over the course of the year. Try pricing out (quality) fertilizer and I'm not talking about the ones from the big box stores.
I've tried two of their competitors but I like Lawn Doctor because they don't try to upsell. Before every application they walk my property to see what issues need to be addressed. In addition to the fertilizer program I have them do it I add on grub control every other year and a lime application in the fall. I highly recommend Lawn Doctor and you will too!

I have used Lawn Doctor for many years now. Prior to this I used ChemLawn and Scott’s service. Lawndoctor management and technicians really care about the lawn and the services they provide. For the last few years, Mark has been my technician and I’m very pleased with how careful he is in his applications of fertilizer and spot weed control. My lawn is the envy of the neighborhood. Historically I have had issues with violets spreading through my lawn: they have an effective treatment for this weed. If by chance they miss a certain section of the lawn, a call to them generates a service visit where they will return to treat the missed area. We have always had a decent lawn , but this year was having a tough time with clover. Always have used a 4 step program on our lawn. My neighbor uses this company. We decided to give it a try. You can customize your plan. I noticed a difference after the second treatment. Thrilled with the result and will continue to use them. I won’t leave a very long review -I’m not great with lengthy communication. To sum everything up -Trust, value, and care are the three top words that come to mind with Lawn Doc. I’m a huge critic in the customer experience, and from day 1 this company has been top notch. Coming from a customer oriented company culture, I will say that this company cares about their customers needs, and the product speaks for itself -my lawn has never looked better! I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a new service for your lawn care. Last, I want to call out Geraldo -the tech that came to do lawn aeration and overseesiding today. He was awesome! Took as much care of my lawn as he would his own. Great employee to have on your team! He wouldn’t even accept a tip…he just felt his hourly was enough. Stand-up employee!

We are thoroughly pleased with the variety of services. The proof of the value is in how many compliments we receive and how much we enjoy our beautiful yard. If we are not home when a service is being performed we receive a detailed description of the services delivered that day along with thoughtful (no pressure) recommendations. If we happen to be home during a visit we are also are greeted by the utmost professional individuals who cheerfully answer any questions we have.
We are very happy to have found a lawn care company that is so responsive and provides such beautiful results!

I have been a satisfied customer of Lawn Doctor for several years now and have never been disappointed in their services. However, I recently had my lawn power seeded and want to further comment on the outstanding service I received. As a senior citizen I am not always able to do what needs to be done. When Oscar saw the 2 areas in need of extra preparation he asked to borrow some tools and set about doing extra work. This was not a job requirement for him but he did it cheerfully and thoroughly. I could not be more pleased with the service and quality of the product. I am a do it yourselfer who had always done his own lawn. My yard is in better shape that it has ever been and for super reasonable money. No more trips to the hardware store or storing bags of fertilizer all summer in my shed. Removing the flag letting me know that Derek and his crew had stopped by is all I do now except the mowing. Definitely the way to go and Lawn Doctor are the company to use. Paul and his team did wonders for my lawn. I bought a house with a neglected lawn that was full of weeds and holes. Paul convinced me that I don't have to replace the lawn altogether. It is amazing how much it improved since Lawn Doctor provided regular service. No more weeds, and Paul powerseeded the bare patches, which are now fully grown in. The lawn looks lush and beautiful! This is my second review for lawn Dr.....I just want to express my thoughts....as stated before I'm very satisfied with lawn dr....the fact that they spread there treatments out for every 6 weeks is wonderful...the other lawn service did not do this and then I would fall behind on my account and couldn't catch up and ending up in collections......I am able to stay current with Lawn dr ..... 😀....I have reached out to lawn dr several times about making the switch, this time I followed thru and happy I did....

I have been using Lawn Doctor for 2 years and have been pleased with their level of service and flexibility. They text me a day in advance of service and their call center is very responsive. Most recently the tech, Benjamin, called me to accommodate my need to have him delay service. When he arrived he walked the yard with me and we discussed remedial steps, increasing the duration of the irrigation. The yard even with this heat wave is looking surprisingly good.

Stop wasting your money on fertilizers purchased through the big box stores. Instead, I urge you all to contact your local Lawn Doctor for annual service. I've been using these folks for a number of years and couldn't be happier. I have the greenest lawn in my neighborhood and constantly get complements on my lawn. Embarking on my first year with The Lawn Doctor proved to be a wise decision, especially after neglecting my yard for three months due to overseas family visits. This is my first year with The Lawn Doctor. So far the staff have been very professional and courteous when interacting with me. My lawn needed some extra attention and the technician made some recommendations. I really didn’t want to spend a lot of money but I decided to do the aeration and seeding. The grass looks better now but it has a ways to go. I’m hoping that by next season my lawn will come in looking healthier and it will be easier to maintain.

Spring/Summer 2022, was the first year we had Lawn Doctor take care of our lawn. It looked great for the whole season despite a drought where we couldn't water the lawn as in previous years. Many thanks to our technicians and the people in Customer Service, who are very responsive. The techs always call ahead of their visits so you know when they are coming. The Service Summary Reports are thorough and posted on-line so you can look at them at any time.

I was a customer of the big green company but the up-sale phone calls were endless. The final straw was in the fall when they “winterized” after the first snow of the year, on top of the leaves and snow.
I made it clear to Lawn Doctor what I wanted from the beginning and they have been great.

Wonderful service and lawn looks great. I have been with Lawn Doctor for the past couple of years and they have done an outstanding job and my lawn is in great shape. Very professional service and I have been impressed with how they have managed different sections of my lawn which retains water and varies from the rest of my yard. This was my first service with Lawn Doctor. The technician, Mike Grams, called me as requested when he arrived so that I could point out places on the lawn where we were growing plants and shrubs of personal value to us. He took care to avoid spraying those plants as part of his service. Just completed my first year with Lawn Doctor, we could not be more happy! Our grass was light, scarce, and weedy. After a few treatments we noticed the change. We used to have little bugs that would fly around all over the yard as you walked over the grass. They are now all gone. Our Grass has never looked healthier and greener. We have no weeds anywhere. Previously I fertilized my lawn myself using the leading brand and did not get good results. Last year I hired an organic company and my lawn was even worse than when I did it myself. I have two neighbors that use Lawn Doctor and their lawns looked great so I decided to give them a try. My lawn looks better than it has in years. I’ve had Lawn Doctor for the past 2 years now. They always come on time, and very attentive to my property. I’ve had a few requests that I’ve made, and they have been very accommodating to those requests, even with different techs. Their customer service is amazing… they even go as far as their GM calling to make sure any and all issues are resolved. Highly recommend.

I have used Lawn Doctor for about 3 seasons now.. My lawn is much thicker and looks much better than when I started. They call the day before they come and leave a detailed note of what they did. If you have to reschedule for any reason, the office is always helpful. If you have questions when they are at your property, just go out and ask them.. Very helpful.
