I have used Lawn Doctor for many years now. Prior to this I used ChemLawn and Scott’s service. Lawndoctor management and technicians really care about the lawn and the services they provide. For the last few years, Mark has been my technician and I’m very pleased with how careful he is in his applications of fertilizer and spot weed control. My lawn is the envy of the neighborhood. Historically I have had issues with violets spreading through my lawn: they have an effective treatment for this weed. If by chance they miss a certain section of the lawn, a call to them generates a service visit where they will return to treat the missed area. We all hate to pay bills! This is one bill that I enjoy paying because I can see the fruits of their labor. Before Lawn Doctor I was doing my own weeding and fertilizing. I crunched the numbers and I find using Lawn Doctor pays for itself over the course of the year. Try pricing out (quality) fertilizer and I'm not talking about the ones from the big box stores. I've tried two of their competitors but I like Lawn Doctor because they don't try to upsell. Before every application they walk my property to see what issues need to be addressed. In addition to the fertilizer program I have them do it I add on grub control every other year and a lime application in the fall. I highly recommend Lawn Doctor and you will too! ~ Tim S
We had a terrible problem with lawn dirt patches (that were spreading). We have had our lawn professionally treated for over 5 years with another company. Late summer early fall of 2021 we noticed the dirt patches spreading. Called the previous company to address, no response from them. Contacted Lawn Doctor in the early spring - we are so pleased with them! The technician came out and walked the areas of concern with me. They put a plan together and I am happy to share we have GRASS GROWING in spots that were bare. We know it will take time to fill in, but we are so pleased. Our neighbor, who is still using our previous company, is having the same issue we did before switching over. ~ Beth M
