I have used Lawn Doctor for many years now. Prior to this I used ChemLawn and Scott’s service. Lawndoctor management and technicians really care about the lawn and the services they provide. For the last few years, Mark has been my technician and I’m very pleased with how careful he is in his applications of fertilizer and spot weed control. My lawn is the envy of the neighborhood. Historically I have had issues with violets spreading through my lawn: they have an effective treatment for this weed. If by chance they miss a certain section of the lawn, a call to them generates a service visit where they will return to treat the missed area. I’ve been a customer since spring 2019. Assistant Manager Scott Vitale visited my property when I expressed an interest in the service. We made a plan that included weed control and fertilizer. Communication with General Manager Derek Brierly is always helpful, he knows his stuff and responds with specificity. Last week, a service tech called and apologized for not being able to apply product b.c. a painter was working outside when he arrived. He explained that the state of MA forbids him from applying product when that happens. He then answered several questions I had about grub control, result is that I have a deeper understanding of how it works and that the techs have been trained in the science of what they’re doing. A lawn service is not a magic bullet, you have to put time in to do your part. I do and so do they. ~ Paul T
We had a terrible problem with lawn dirt patches (that were spreading). We have had our lawn professionally treated for over 5 years with another company. Late summer early fall of 2021 we noticed the dirt patches spreading. Called the previous company to address, no response from them. Contacted Lawn Doctor in the early spring - we are so pleased with them! The technician came out and walked the areas of concern with me. They put a plan together and I am happy to share we have GRASS GROWING in spots that were bare. We know it will take time to fill in, but we are so pleased. Our neighbor, who is still using our previous company, is having the same issue we did before switching over. ~ Beth M
