I’ve been a customer since spring 2019. Assistant Manager Scott Vitale visited my property when I expressed an interest in the service. We made a plan that included weed control and fertilizer. Communication with General Manager Derek Brierly is always helpful, he knows his stuff and responds with specificity. Last week, a service tech called and apologized for not being able to apply product b.c. a painter was working outside when he arrived. He explained that the state of MA forbids him from applying product when that happens. He then answered several questions I had about grub control, result is that I have a deeper understanding of how it works and that the techs have been trained in the science of what they’re doing. A lawn service is not a magic bullet, you have to put time in to do your part. I do and so do they. ~ Paul T
Lawn Doctor of Waltham-Lexington performed the first of spring fertilizer service on March 3, 2022; the Service Technicians Josh and Craig were impressive professionals that went about their duties in quick but certain performance. On April 5, 2022, I choose to pre-pay for the season and was accurately guided in choosing the particular services that I needed by Derek, the General Manager. Earlier in the day I communicated with Sandy of Customer Service and she set me up with the Aeration process, and was very patient with my inquiry. This was my introduction to Lawn Doctor and I am quite favorably impressed. It is too early to determine the results of the grass seeding and weed control thus far, although I can definitely report that if it matches the courtesy and personal response to date, it will be quite acceptable. We all hate to pay bills! This is one bill that I enjoy paying because I can see the fruits of their labor. Before Lawn Doctor I was doing my own weeding and fertilizing. I crunched the numbers and I find using Lawn Doctor pays for itself over the course of the year. Try pricing out (quality) fertilizer and I'm not talking about the ones from the big box stores. I've tried two of their competitors but I like Lawn Doctor because they don't try to upsell. Before every application they walk my property to see what issues need to be addressed. In addition to the fertilizer program I have them do it I add on grub control every other year and a lime application in the fall. I highly recommend Lawn Doctor and you will too! ~ Tim S
